Privacy policy

1. Data controller

The controller of your data is LDC LMT DIGITAL CREATIONS, publisher of CV Ajuste (full contact details in the legal notice). For any question about your data: info@cvajuste.com.

2. What we process and why

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Only include in your CV what supports your application. A CV does not need your social security number, your health status, your opinions or your religion: do not enter them.

3. Writing with artificial intelligence

To read a job offer, structure the CV you import and write your documents, CV Ajuste sends the necessary text (your career history and the job offer you are targeting) to an artificial intelligence model provided by OpenAI. OpenAI acts on our behalf, as a processor, under a data processing agreement. Under its terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models and may be retained for up to 30 days to detect abuse, before being deleted.

The artificial intelligence suggests text; it makes no decisions about you. You review, edit and approve everything that appears in your documents. CV Ajuste adds no fact that you have not provided or confirmed.

4. Recipients of your data

Your CV, job offers and documents are never sent to Stripe. No one else receives your data, except an authority where the law requires us to disclose it.

5. Cookies and browser storage

CV Ajuste sets no advertising or audience measurement cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent before setting any, and this page will be updated.

The app keeps your session in your browser’s storage, via Firebase. This is strictly necessary for you to get back to your documents, so no consent is required.

6. Retention periods

Retention periods are set out in the table in section 2. Once deleted, data may remain for some time in our hosting provider’s backups until it is overwritten.

7. Security

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, the right to restrict processing, the right to object and the right to data portability. You may also give instructions as to what happens to your data after your death.

You can delete your account yourself at any time from the app: the account, your career history, your job offers and your documents are deleted immediately. To exercise your other rights, write to us at info@cvajuste.com from your account’s email address; we reply within one month.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07), or with the data protection authority of the European Union country where you live.

9. Age

CV Ajuste is intended for people aged 16 and over, including young people looking for an internship or a work-study placement.

10. Changes

When this policy changes, we update this page and its date. If there is a significant change, we notify account holders by email before it takes effect.
